About the Orange Line

The Orange Line runs between Miami International Airport and Dadeland South, calling at 16 stations in about 34 min end to end. Trains run every 15 minutes on weekdays.

At weekends this line effectively disappears. Instead of running through to Dadeland South, Orange Line trains shuttle back and forth between the airport and Earlington Heights only, every 15 minutes. Everyone travelling further changes to the Green Line.

To carry on into downtown Miami, Brickell or Dadeland, transfer to the Green Line at Earlington Heights. Through Orange Line trains between the airport and Dadeland South run Monday to Friday only.

Where the two lines share track

From Earlington Heights south to Dadeland South, Orange and Green trains use the same track and call at the same 15 stations. You do not change trains along that stretch — whichever train arrives first will take you, which is why the wait there is about eight minutes rather than fifteen.
