From the terminal to the train
Miami International Airport’s Metrorail station is not inside the terminal — it sits in the Miami Intermodal Center, a few minutes away. Follow signs for the MIA Mover, a free automated shuttle that runs from the third level of the parking garage and takes about four minutes.
From there the Orange Line takes you to Government Center in about 15 minutes and Brickell in about 17. One fare of $2.25 covers the whole ride, however far you go.

Frequently asked questions
No. No rail line crosses to Miami Beach. Take the Orange Line to Government Center and change to a Metrobus over the causeway, or use the airport bus routes directly.

Until just after midnight, but from about 8 pm on weekdays (and all day at weekends) only as the shuttle to Earlington Heights, where you change to the Green Line. There is no overnight Metrorail service.
At weekends, and on weekdays from about 8 pm, Orange Line trains run only between the airport and Earlington Heights, every 15 minutes. Change there to the Green Line for downtown, Brickell and Dadeland.
